Drumming Background
Drumsticks in hand since age three. Twenty-three years later, that same relentless curiosity has forged a sound that moves fluidly between jazz, fusion, R&B, funk, neo-soul, and hip-hop — a style built on feel as much as it's built on chops.
A Berklee College of Music graduate (B.A. in Music Performance, Class of 2024), I've brought that sound to stages across Boston, New York, and the San Francisco Bay Area — from City Winery Boston and Room 623 in Harlem to Black Cat, Mr. Tipple's, Music City, the Claremont Jazz on the Hill concert series, and the Lesher Center for the Arts. Along the way, I've shared the stage with respected artists like Tim Ries — saxophonist for The Rolling Stones — and acclaimed bassist Mimi Jones. I've also performed alongside Bay Area pianist and composer Kev Choice and trumpeter and composer Daniel Harris III, led large ensembles through demanding sets, and held down the groove as both a live and session drummer for artists who needed the pocket locked in.
What drives me isn't the spotlight — it's the pocket. The deep, immovable groove that makes a band feel like one instrument. I bring musicality, professionalism, and a collaborative spirit to every set, because the music always comes first. My job is simple: make every performance hit harder, feel deeper, and reach its full potential.
