Jordan McGowan is a Berklee College of Music graduate, class of 2024, with a BA in Music Performance. He performs across jazz, fusion, R&B, and funk as a live drummer and session drummer.

Jordan has performed at Harlem’s Room 623 with the Berklee Rising Stars and was invited to share the bandstand in jam sessions with Tim Ries, touring saxophonist and keyboardist with The Rolling Stones, and Mimi Jones, bassist on Terri Lyne Carrington’s Grammy-winning The Mosaic Project. Boston and Bay Area credits include City Winery Boston, the Claremont Hotel and Club in Berkeley, Prescott Market in Oakland, Mr Tipple’s, and Music City in San Francisco.

He is a co-founder of the Spon2neity Collective and has performed to sold out audiences in the Claremont Jazz on the Hill concert series under musical director Kev Choice. He also collaborates with trumpeter and arranger Daniel Harris III and has played with the Bay Area band Summons Review. Alongside music, Jordan is pursuing an MA in Photography at Academy of Art University, class of 2027.
